Nutrition and Physical Activity in Family Day Care

Griffith University is conducting a study to learn more about the nutrition and physical activity environment in the Australian family day care sector. The goal is to understand what is going well and what needs to be improved, so that tailored interventions that meet the specific needs of family day care educators and providers can be developed.

Who can take part?

If you are currently working as a family day care educator in Australia, you’re invited to participate in this research project.

What’s in it for me?

At the end of the survey, you will be offered the opportunity to enter a prize draw to win one of three $100 vouchers for Kidstuff.

Completing this survey takes about 15 minutes. If you have any questions regarding this research project, please contact Lieke Vorage from Griffith University at l.vorage@griffith.edu.au.

Yom Kippur

Yom Kippur—the Day of Atonement—is considered the most important holiday in the Jewish faith. According to tradition, it is on Yom Kippur that God decides each person’s fate, so Jews are encouraged to make amends and ask forgiveness for sins committed during the past year.

The holiday is observed with a 25-hour fast and a special religious service. Yom Kippur 2023 begins on the evening of Sunday, September 24 and ends on the evening of Monday, September 25.
